Thank you sooo much .. this link will help me a lot .. :) I guess I can knowtry to push their insurance :)
Frequently Asked Questions about Portability of Health Coverage and HIPAA (http://www.dol.gov/ebsa/faqs/faq_consumer_hipaa.html)
Find out the reason why that "Employment Insurance" rejected the coverage.
My wife was enrolled into my employment-insurance only at 7th month (2006), she did not have 'pregnancy' coverage in her previous insurance. She was covered fully (from 7th month, I paid for the scanning, blood test etc, which was a total of around $1500 till then) for my second son.
Other options are expensive, will cost at least 10K-12K if you want to pay out of your pocket.

amits: Swamy is correct, all documents that are required for H1B stamping, plus a copy of your 485 receipt notices. Just in case, VO asks you for the proof of AOS, which is very unlikely.

In my opinion, you should deal with the seller directly with out an agent only if you know the seller personally. Say you want to purchase a house from another IVan, you can do that with out a middleman (Realtor) :)
But you would still need a settlement agency and a lawyer (usually arranged by the settlement agency). And it is advisable to get the loan thru a loan agent.
So what is the roler of a broker/ real estate agent for a buyer.
If I choose to deal directly with the seller, what are the things I need to do myself and can you explain the "attorney" part that you mentioned.
Thanks

Hi,
My parents got 10 year multiple entry US visa 2 years back. My brother who was residing here had sent the required documents and applied the visitor visa. My parents had visited me then for 3 months. Now I am planning to get my parents to US. But my brother no longer lives in USA. Is my parents visitor visa still valid since my brother is not residing here or should I re apply for my parents visitors visa. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Yes,, its valid for ten years..irrespective of the fact that your brother is in US or Not...

Question is why make it mandatory ??
There are thousands of prevention medicines and vaccines in the market. Do all of us take all of them !!!!
I think it is safe to assume that answer is NO
We have an option of making choice and it is upto us to either go for a vaccine or not. So fair thing should be not to enforce this on immigrants.
By the way, CDC has approved lots of medicines which are not safe and we figure their side effects later on. Please check the following link (few side effects of gardasil)
http://www.ennislaw.com/gardasil.html
I am not saying that this vaccine is bad for every women, I think it is unfair to make this mandatory and that too just on immigrants.
lawsuit?? oh come on. This is for a CDC recommended vaccine which might help prevent cancer!!
To my mind this is the ONLY fees that we are paying which really means something useful to us... After paying thousands of dollars in fees to USCIS (H1/485/EAD/AP), hundreds to DoS (visa stampings), and sponsoring multiple trips to Hawaii for my lawyer (his fees would make you faint) this is finally a fee that actually does something useful to the applicant, and I would gladly pay this for my family members.

Real Life :
A friend of mine who went to India's premier institution - IIT in India and then to IIM worked for one of the fortune 100 companies here in the US.
He got married and decided to move to UK because his equally qualified spouse being on a dependent Visa could not work due to the obsolete rules.
Both husband and wife are well on thier way to permanent residency in UK.
Doubly bad for the United States!!!

There are two aspects of free trade - free flow of capital and labor.
Globalization has made the flow of capital between countries easy. The next thing that we will start observing is the reverse flow of labor to where the work is. In this respect we have already observed two things:
1. Labor flow to where the work is (from developing countries to developed countries)
2. Work transfer to where the labor is (outsourcing)
Soon, we will start seeing the third aspect of labor flow - labor going from developed countries to developing countries, as the work will be there. This appears quite possible in the IT industry. In other industries it may take longer.
Once there is wage parity between countries, for a particular kind of work, labor flows will become minimal.
Restrictive legislation (like those that lead to delaying the issue of green cards, not renewing H1B etc.) will act to accelerate both job loss and skilled personnel moving out to developing countries.

You need to verify what they are feeling and why they are filling in forms.
Should have knowledge of process and you should be fine with any Attorney.

Like I mentioned in my earlier post, after extensive research we found the best deal for ppl in H1 at https://www.accessgroup.org/AppSecure/Loan_Terms/federal-private-loan-terms.aspx
PS - This is in no way a promotion for accessgroup, I am just sharing the result of our several hours of research.
Can you please provide some more information on applying for a student loan without a co-signer, when you are not a GC holder or US Citizen? Thanks

Hi,
I came to US in 2004, my H1 visa was sponsored by cognizant technology solutions. H1 was valid from Nov 04 to Dec 06. later on my I 94 was extended from Dec 06 to July 09 .
I changed company and joined wipro in Aug 08 and now my I 94 is now valid till July 2010.
I have never gone back to India for a visit ever since I landed in US (2004)..I now want to go to India for few months and have read that i'll have to get my visa stamped before reentering US...
My question is if i'll have any problems with visa stamping because I was originally working with cognizant and am now working with wipro?..Am I out of status since my original visa expired in 2006 ?...pls help
Cognizant to Wipro? Out of the frying pan, into a fire? :)

Then looks like they have to review at least 94% of the cases they rejected.
Mostly of the people just think its just giving the annonymous name, phone numbers and getting the benefit of the decision .Please read these point and understand carefully before jumping.
Please be aware, though, that USCIS is likely to examine plaintiffs adjustment of status applications more closely than it otherwise might. It may ask the plaintiffs questions and ask for additional information about their adjustment applications or immigration status. See below regarding discovery.

Is it B1 or B2 visa ?
Even with a B visa you cannot work without permision from DHS.
